1. Due to the separation effect of membranes, there is no need to set up other solid-liquid separation equipment such as sedimentation and filtration. It can directly filter out suspended substances, colloidal substances, and microbial communities lost by biological units in wastewater, and directly reuse wastewater. It can maintain high concentration of biomass in the biological treatment unit, greatly increasing the volumetric load. Membrane bioreactors can filter out harmful substances such as bacteria and viruses. The cutting effect of the membrane enables microorganisms to be trapped in the reactor, achieving complete separation of hydraulic retention time (HRT) and sludge age (STR), and flexible and stable operation control. The biological sludge in the membrane bioreactor can achieve dynamic balance during operation, with almost no residual sludge discharge, and the cost of sewage sludge treatment is low.
