What is a sewage treatment high-density tank?

Author:

High-density sedimentation tank (referred to as high-density tank) is an efficient clarification equipment, which cleverly combines the technology of inclined pipe precipitation and sludge reflux, integrates the functions of pharmaceutical dosing, sludge reflux, mechanical mixing, mechanical flocculation, contact flocculation, high-efficiency precipitation, sludge concentration, etc., to achieve the coordination and efficient treatment of processes. High-density pool not only covers a small area, compact equipment, and a high degree of mechanical automation, so it has been widely used in chemical hard removal, chemical silicon removal, reducing alkalinity and other aspects, especially in ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis pretreatment process played a key role.

The structure of high-density pools is exquisitely designed and usually divided into multiple functional areas, including coagulation pool, lime dosing pool, soda reaction pool, flocculation pool and inclined tube sedimentation tank. The auxiliary facilities are perfect, including agitator, mud scraper, sludge circulation pump, sludge discharge pump, etc., and are also equipped with pH meter, mud level meter, flow meter and other meters to ensure accurate monitoring of the operation process. In addition, the high-density pool is also equipped with pharmaceutical preparation systems, such as coagulant, lime, liquid alkali, flocculant, sodium carbonate, etc., to meet different treatment needs.

In the chemical dehardening process, the high-density pool can effectively remove the hardness components such as Ca2+, Mg2+ and HCO3- from the water by adjusting the dosage and pH value of the agent. Depending on the hardness and alkalinity, the high-density pool can be treated by lime softening method, lime soda method or lime liquid alkali method. These processes enable efficient hardness removal and pH regulation by precisely controlling chemical reactions.

In order to ensure the stable operation and efficient treatment effect of high-density pool, process control is very important. The adjustment of sludge reflux ratio is helpful to optimize the flocculation effect and sludge precipitation performance. The precise control of mud level is related to sludge reflux and the normal operation of mud scraper. The dosage of coagulant and flocculant should be adjusted according to the change of water quality. The control of lime dosage is related to effluent quality and lime consumption. The adjustment of pH value directly affects the removal efficiency of Mg2+.

In terms of daily maintenance and operation, the high-density pool needs to regularly carry out inclined pipe flushing, agitator cleaning, pH meter probe cleaning and other work to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and the accuracy of the data. In addition, it is necessary to regularly check the height and clearance of the scraper at the bottom of the mud scraper to prevent equipment failure caused by damage to the scraper.

In general, as an efficient and compact clarifying equipment, high-density sedimentation tank has a wide application prospect in the field of chemical hardening, silicon removal and other water treatment. By optimizing process control and strengthening daily maintenance and management, the treatment efficiency and stability of the high-density pool can be further improved, contributing to the sustainable development of the water treatment industry.
